The Synopsis

Tarku Resources (TSXV:TKU | OTCQB:TRKUF | FRA:7TK) is a Canadian mineral exploration company advancing several high-potential projects at various stages of exploration across North America. Their exploration portfolio includes the gold-focused “Three As” and MAX Lithium projects in Québec and the Silver Strike project in Arizona.

As a small-cap public company, Tarku Resources needed brand equity and web visibility to stand out from other junior explorers in the market. In June 2022, the company engaged Global One Media to help them create an effective web presence and transform their value proposition into a thought-provoking narrative.

Our Approach

Starting from square one, we gave Tarku Resources’ social media channels a fresh coat of paint. From updating graphics to beefing up underutilized social media features, we consolidated the brand’s fragmented messaging into a consistent whole.

Facebook & Twitter

These revamped social media channels laid the groundwork for our content management plan. Our content strategy had three main aims:

  • Provide information about the company’s valuable metals projects
  • Showcase the company’s distinct strengths
  • Draw attention to evolving industry trends

In crafting our content pieces, we engaged in good SEO practices and benchmarked best-performing content—capturing investor attention is priority number one.

Instagram & TikTok

To keep up with fast-moving social media trends, we built up Tarku Resources’ presence in TikTok, through our Stocks to Watch series, and Instagram. We publish video content specially formatted for these channels with a special focus on informative and educational topics.

Email direct marketing

We also created targeted email direct marketing campaigns to reach investors, followers, and other interested parties who have signed up with Tarku Resources’ mailing list. A special newsletter post is included in the monthly calendar to advertise this service. Subscribers regularly receive press releases from the company including project updates, results from company deliberations, and investment news.

Podcast

Tarku Resources is also regularly highlighted in our Stocks to Watch podcast series on Spotify. Our series recently garnered a #1 spot in the podcast category for “Investing”.

Youtube

While we transformed the social media touchpoints, the Global One Media CEO Interview series opened an avenue for company officials to connect and engage with current investors and potential investors, especially younger demographics. A recent study by Forbes indicated that up to 47% of young adults turned to YouTube for financial information.

We conducted the interviews in English and French to reach Tarku Resources’ different audience segments. Developing a nuanced approach for the Quebec market can be challenging and we recognize that reaching out and engaging with investors in their own language is the cornerstone of successfully entering this market. Beyond interviews with Global One Media, we also developed a variety of video content for the company’s YouTube channel. These include the Explotips series, greetings for special occasionsshorts, and fieldwork features in English and French.

As Tarku Resources embarks into new ventures, we remain flexible and adaptive to guarantee that their projects are backed by an agile and timely content strategy that delivers fresh information to a wide audience.

Results

Since the start of our work with Tarku Resources, we have:

  • Created more than 230 pieces of unique content, including;
  • more than 160 social media visuals and copies;
  • more than 70 feature videos and video clips, in English and French.
  • Consolidated Tarku Resources’ branding and image
  • Directed investor attention to the company’s emerging projects and investment opportunities.

As a result of this comprehensive strategy, Tarku Resources reported an increase in social media followers in the last year with a 145% increase on Facebook, 51% on Instagram, 27% on  Twitter, and 15% on LinkedIn, accompanied by an increased presence on YouTube.
